View from the Penthouse

A view from my 4th floor penthouse. I was moved to a corner recovery room with a view of St George on Saturday Feb 13. The nurses talked about this as a goal. Early on it seemed like an impossibility like the land of OZ. A mythical place where dreams come true. As I was wheeled out of ICU to Oz I wept. Although my fight was not over I would once again see my family. I took time to give thanks for my good fortune and prayed for other covid patients and their families that they would find comfort and recovery.
